Home by Dusk is a game made by Mahdi Farra. It has no accounts, no ads and no tracking across apps or websites. This page explains the little it does use.

Anonymous usage statistics

The game counts a few anonymous events so we can see whether it works well: a session starting, a run starting and ending (the mode, the city, the day reached and the number of trips), the unlock screen being shown, an unlock or a restore, and error reports. These go to Peeko, our own cookieless analytics service. They contain no name, email, account, advertising identifier or location, they aren't linked to you, and they are never sold or shared for advertising. Peeko doesn't keep your IP address or device details.

This website counts anonymous visits with Peeko too. A visit records the page, the referring site, the country, and the browser and device type, plus clicks on links that leave the site; Peeko sets no cookies and doesn't store your IP address.

Your Street and location

If you choose to play your own street, the game asks for your approximate location, or you can type an address instead. That location is used on your device to build the board and is never sent to us.

Purchases

The one-time unlock is sold through the App Store or Google Play. They handle the payment; the game only learns whether the unlock is owned. We never see your payment details.

What stays on your device

Your progress, settings, saved runs and Daily streak are stored only on your device. Deleting the app deletes them.

Children

The game is suitable for all ages and doesn't knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children.
